Transfer guaranteed admission to UC?

I heard all UC do those except UCLA and UCB.

Any know what these are and lets say u sign one with SD, but wanna go to UCLA, does that have an impact on ur admission to LA?

Zero impact on LA or any other UC.

Some CCC's offer a TAG (xfer agreement) for UCLA. It is not a guarantee to get in, but an even higher priority status for you application over other CCC students.

For instance...47% of students at a local CCC, who apply to ULCA, get in. Those with the UCLA TAG have a 77% chance. However it hsould be noted, that those with the TAG must be in the honors programs at the CCC.

You mean TAP? I might be thinking about something else.

exillo, those stats are remarkable 30% increase. wow.

Yeah my cc has those programs as well. Scholars program is what they call it for UCLA. Priority admission. Unfortunatly i am not in it and ucla is my # 1 choice. :(

Collegeman, my cc has TAG agreemed with UCSD, which guarantees admission if specific classes are taken and 3.0 GPA is maintained. UCSD is a very good schools, so it's a big plus to know that u will be admitted. Also has similar programs for other schools.

The reason I mentioned the TAP program is because I thought TAG (transfer admission gurantee) was guranteed admission as long as the requirements are fufilled. Its cause exilio said those with the UCLA TAG have a 77% chance. I may be missing something here.

Yes, that was my mistake..right concept, wrong acronym...TAP no TAG...either way it's not a guarantee.

Good luck on the UCLA app DA..that is my #1 as well. I'm applying with a 4.0 and a bunch of EC's and work experience but I am not holding my breath. UCLA is a tricky one it seems.

What major did you apply to exilio?
