Transfer in one year??

im fresh out of high school and currently going to rio hondo

currently taking bio for the summer
I just want to take as much classes as possible
- summer, fall, winter, spring sessions for example

Has anyone ever transfered in one year?

I was pretty decent in High School if that matters
overall gpa: 3.42

PLEASE HELP!

There were quite a few ppl this year that managed to transfer in 1 year. You can definitely do it, but you’ll have to seriously focus and take a ton of units. It’s definitely possible. Just keep everything in perspective.

I transferred in one year from Mt.Sac to UCLA. It is possible but like emilsinclaire9 said, you have to be prepared for a ton of units per semester. Moreover, it is hard for freshmen to take classes since freshmen don’t usually get early registration so this might be your big problem. I was able to get all my classes because I joined the sport team and student athletes get priority registration.

I am a one year transfer.
Here is a great resource by the way, they were all one year transfers…look at the end pages for where they got accepted

it is definitely possible you just have to set your goals early and go for them

thanks, any specific classes you guys took? in order to transfer

Follow the IGETC form to complete the General Requirements. Choose them so they can double count with your major pre req classes

just finish igetc and pre-reqs from assist.org
