Transfer Student

I recently submitted everything into Florida State University as a transfer student and waiting on their admission decision. I sent in everything though before reading that you must meet freshman requirements. All of my ACT scores are above the requirements.. but the math where I missed it by one point. I have never been a strong math student but my first semester of college I have a 3.54 and did well in all of my classes. Since I didn't meet the math requirement by one point does that mean its an automatic rejection?

If somebody could let me know that would be great!

I’ve never been strong in math, so i feel your pain, however I don’t believe you would be in too much trouble provided your other scores make up for it, especially if you aren’t going to be a math major. I hope I am right, and I hope this sets you at ease a little.

Did you meet the math requirement for either you ACT or SAT? I’m just curious to see if they do accept people still if they didn’t meet the one requirement.

I did, but I went through extensive ACT practice that was provided at my school.
