<p>I'm currently going into my second year at a CC in Florida. My GPA is a 3.44, but that's with grade forgiveness. When I got out of the corps a few years back I took a semester but was too sick (medical discharge) to keep going and got 4 F's which I can't have taken off. Now I've taken all but 1 of the classes over and have a 4.0 outside of that semester.</p>
<p>The classes were Spanish 1, Intro to business, Micro computer applications for business and economics, and elementary algebra. </p>
<p>As far as my questions, elementary algebra doesn't count towards GPA at this CC, would they count it at a state university? Also, I want to go pre-professional biology (pre-med) and go to med school, would the university I apply to even count those two other courses because they are outside my major? I'll be finishing my AA with 79 credits (not counting the elementary algebra) so is there any chance the university would just drop those courses?</p>
