Transferring from A&M to UT-Austin

Hey Everyone! I was wondering if someone could perhaps chance me in being admitted into UT. I am currently a freshmen at Texas A&M, and would like to transfer into the College of Liberal Arts with a double major in Government and Economics during Summer Admission.
Texas A&M is a great place, and I have met plenty of wonderful people here, however I do not think it is the right place for me. I always dreamed of being a Longhorn, however I was subsequently CAPPED during freshmen admissions. I appreciate everyone helping me! (For College I am looking at either a 3.45 or 3.625 depending on finals)

Dang, your post was wayyyyyy too long.

UT doesn't consider anything you did during high school (Grades, ECs, etc...) when reviewing transfer applications.

Also, your 15 hours of AP credit doesn't count towards the 30 hours of college credit UT requires, so you still need to complete another semester of college work.

UT's average transfer GPA is a little north of 3.6, but COLA is one of the easier schools to get into, sometimes accepting kids with 3.2s and 3.3s. I'd say that with a 3.45, you'd have a pretty decent shot, say 67%, of being accepted.

If I were you, I'd probably contact someone at UT for more information about the transfer process.
