I am currently a freshman and I am thinking about transferring next year. Colgate is definitely a university I am interested in attending. I was wondering what the atmosphere at Colgate is like for transfer students. Is it easy to adjust? Is the student body welcoming of transfers? Also, is the school accurately represented on the website and on the campus tour regarding campus life, academics, social life etc.? My current school was not accurately portrayed and is a lot different than I expected.
Thanks for all the help!

As a sophomore transfer, it’s easy to fit in and get involved. Everyone is still deciding their majors, trying to cement life-long friendships, planning for junior year, building up experience in student organizations, and so forth. So you will experience much of the same things as any other sophomore.

This forum has done a very good job, IMHO, of portraying Colgate accurately as we have quite a few very loyal alums and parents here.
