Transferring to UMN-TC in the fall - living situation question

Next fall I'll be transferring to the U as a junior, but I have a problem when it comes to my living situation. I really, really do not want to live at home, but is there any place where incoming transfer students can even live on campus? Since I don't know many people at the U it'd also be hard to get an apartment, even though I'd still consider it.

I would recommend UV, Yudof, and Comstock over Superblock, Bailey, etc. for upperclassmen.

Son lived at the Comstock dorm as a sophomore and junior. I would check to see if there are still any openings there. Comstock tends to have more upperclassman than some of the other dorms, and it is close to Coffman Union. Good luck.
