And from their reply it sounds like even though I have an extra- they don’t want me sending it in. I can understand this- I mean if they have a record number of applicants the last thing I want to do is slow everyone else down by sending in YET ANOTHER transcript. Think of it this way- somebody’s transcript has to be the last one entered. It just so happens it’s ours. I’m going to keep close contact with the UW though (just in case). One thing I noticed in common with all of us is the fact that our transcripts were sent in at different dates from our application. This may be what is slowing down the process. Future transfer students- turn all transcripts in at the same time as your application!!!

In other news- I’m now worried that I won’t be getting housing. I’ll be priority 3 for sure- but there’s a chance I won’t be accepted until after June 12th- in which case I’ll be priority 4 (who HFS says will probably ALL be wait listed). I was hoping for housing in Terry Hall with my cousin who got accepted as a freshman. Keep your fingers crossed for us!!!

Also if anyone else is in the same boat as Bridges and me and wants to be text buddies to help the frustration, feel free to PM me with your phone number! =)

Yup, I got a letter of missing transcript asking for me to scan my high school transcript and e-mail it in. I did and now my application is ready to be reviewed and the status will not update itself again.

My status is still “We have received all materials required to review your application. Your application will remain in this status until decisions are finalized. We will inform you by postal mail when a decision is made. Like NEXT YEAR or NEVER, MWAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!”

Okay, maybe it doesn’t have that last sentence in there. It’s been at the same status for exactly four months, so it FEELS like that sometimes.

I applied in february and I was in initial review until today, and then it changed to “We have received all materials required to review your application. Your application will remain in this status until decisions are finalized. We will inform you by postal mail when a decision is made.”
This wait is baddd. And I had to email wsu and ask for an extension on my deposit because I don’t want to lose 200 bucks. I wish it were possible for UW to get back to us before May 1!

yea same here I dont want to lose $200…it is a good idea to ask WSU for an extension mine is still “Your application is awaiting an initial review” and i applied summer. I only see my high school transcript :(… this wait is killing me.

In all honesty I’m just hoping for a place to live and for some classes to still be open -_-’ Ugh this really sucks. I have to pay a deposit for housing at WSU (instate university transfer here) by today.

DreamUni - They might give you an extension, but if you are a fall transfer there is no way they will give you until June… And I think even May is pushing it… It’s better to be out $200 then be out of a college to live at if UW doesn’t accept you :)

Mathew- I feel you! I mean I would love to be placed in my first choice housing (terry)- but at this point I’d be happy to get any housing. I know summer quarter won’t be a problem- but I may not have a place to go come fall. Also- yay on your status changing. Mine just changed last monday. Now we play the waiting game.

Did you guys get accepted at any other schools? One of mine wants to know by May 1st if I’ll attend. And the kicker is, they’re the only one who’ve given me a doable financial aid deal so far. I don’t want to pay a $200 deposit for a school I probably won’t go to! (UW is my first choice and would also be much cheaper.) But then what if I don’t get into UW. Raaaaargh.
