What is the best way for a Pitt student to get from campus to the airport on the Wed. before Thanksgiving? And is there anything unusual (or not self-explanatory) that would be helpful to know ahead of time? Do these buses fill up quickly with kids trying to leave for the holiday? Is there a chance that a student wouldn't be able to get on the bus because they fill up?

And where exactly does the bus pick up the kids?

How about returning to campus on Sunday after the Thanksgiving break?

Yes, it does get crowded. My daughter often has to stand the whole way to the airport. (I think the bus passes by Carnegie Mellon first.) I guess at some point the bus would get filled. Have your student leave plenty of time.

The kids get on free with the Panther card, as you probably know.

I believe the bus stops running at midnight. So if your student returns to Pitt late at night, make sure he or she has cab fare.

I'm not quite sure where it stops near Pitt. Maybe a current student can help out with that.
