<p>I'm currently a freshman thinking about transferring to a school where my boyfriend and my brother currently go. My brother will be graduating this year, so it's not like I'd see him around at all there. Also, the size of the school is about 5,000 students, so it's not like I'd see my boyfriend all the time either. The school is a very good school, that's why I'm thinking about transferring there. Do you think it's weird that I want to go to the same school as my boyfriend and my brother? Any advice on whether this is a good idea or not? </p>
<p>Depends on your motivation. Do you want to go there because your boyfriend goes there, or do you want to go there because you’re actually interested in the academics and opportunities the school has to offer you. If its the former, I would reconsider. </p>
<p>I’m definitely interested in the prestige and the opportunities that the school has. My boyfriend going there is just a coincidence, really. The problem is the limited amount of majors they offer in their business school. Also, I think the area would be a better fit than where I am now, but I’m afraid of not being able to meet new people because of my boyfriend’s presence there. Any additional advice anyone?</p>
