Tufts Engineering & SAT II Question?

Hey folks, I did a quick search for this topic but didn't find anything...

I'm a prospective Tufts Engineering applicant (As civil engineering; I really like the school and the location, a lot). The Tuft's website (Applying to Tufts as a First-Year Student - Office of Undergraduate Admissions - Tufts University) lists as a requirement:

~~ 4. SAT Reasoning Test plus two Subject Tests OR the ACT with Writing.

Note: Applicants to the School of Engineering taking the SAT and Subject Tests must submit either the Math Level 1 or II and either Chemistry or Physics. For applicants contemplating a science or math major within the School of Arts and Sciences, we recommend submitting either Math Level I or II and a science exam of your choice. ~~

I have Math II and Spanish under my belt, along with the SAT I. BUT I won't be able to take Chem or Physics before I apply--any suggestions?

Could I apply to Tufts undecided, then choose engineering? What are the odds of admittance to the Engineering school in a scenario like that?

Or should I take the ACT--it seems like they exempt ACT test takers from the SAT II req?

Thoughts? Thanks.

You can submit test scores as late as the Dec. test date. That should give you plenty of chances to take the Chem or Physics test, right? Otherwise, you can just take the ACT, but if you are already satisfied with your SAT score why would you go through that? I would not recommend applying to Arts and Sciences if you really want to do Engineering.

Which science class are you taking this year. Is neither an option with the June test date?
