<p>I think your chances are pretty low. If the GPA was a bit higher, maybe but out-of-state with a GPA that low makes UVa a reach.</p>
<p>Yeah, a 3.3 seems kind of low. Most transfers to UVa that I've met here on CC have had really high 1st semester college GPAs. For a 3rd opinion, you should send a message to FirstYear. He/she transferred from Tufts to UVa last year.</p>

<p>Me too! I'm out of state for UVa but have great stats. Admission rate is lower for out-of-state UVa than for Tufts, but am hopeful for both. So why does Tufts 008 want to leave?</p>
