Tufts University Early Decision for Fall 2023 Admission

Wow. The school district paid everyone’s SAT fees? That’s great. Is that specific to your state or district?

At least our district in Plano Texas.

I also had this issue where it said “awaiting” FAFSA electronic data on my financial aid checklist even though I had submitted it prior to the deadline. Now, FAFSA electronic data isn’t even listed on my checklist. Does anyone else have this issue? I haven’t reached out to anyone in the financial aid office yet but I’m started to get worried.

I think you are fine, no need to be worried. FAFSA never showed up as one line item for us.

on my application checklist on the tufts portal, it states that they’ve received my mid-year grades (which are due feb 15th 2023), but those haven’t been sent yet, but it says received?
did this happen to anyone else, what does it mean? or is it just an error?

About the withdraw button, I saw another theory this weekend. It said that the button should remain active until the decision release time to allow unbonding from ED obligation even the decision is a yes. Made sense to me

i keep overthinking the fafsa showing up as not received… it sounds like there have been some other errors. is it possible they have everything but it just hasn’t shown up?

if not i worry that having financial aid issues and not having been contacted by the financial aid office means i didn’t get in

we all need to relax. It is what is now and we have done everything and nothing but waiting for now. It could be the portal itself is crappy. Good luck!

Hi! Former Tufts waitlist kid here. I got waitlisted last year and was accepted around May 18th. I am now a freshman at Tufts and I love it here! It’s possible!

IM SO SCARED. btw is everyone’s withdraw button is there

Deferral from ED is a completely different thing from waitlist. If you are deferred from ED, it just means your application goes into the RD pile. Nobody is waitlisted until all decisions are released in the spring.

The withdraw button is now gone but the “self report scores” button is still there. The nerves have officially kicked in!

Both buttons still appear on my D’s portal
