I’ve heard UVA’s Dean J say that most schools don’t load actual results into the portal until shortly before release, because people were able to access them through some coding hack.

I wish I could’ve persuaded my girl to apply to UVA ED since we can claim legacy. We are completely unhooked at Tufts. She loves Boston.

Just wondering— what did they say when you phoned and email them? Did they not give you a straight answer about fafsa?
Were any of your applicants asked by Tufts to send them first quarter 2022 grades? Also, would you guys know how to convert IB grade to GPA? I have no idea what my son’s GPA is, but IB grade is 44. Thanks!!!

Yes, we went through that exercise yesterday and everyone who replied said “withdraw application” button is still there.
Does anyone know what the acceptance rate off the Tufts waitlist? I feel like I’m gonna get deferred and I’m wondering if Tufts is a school that has a near 0% acceptance off the waitlist or an actual decent chance.

From T website: How many students have you taken off the wait list in the past? Let me preface my answer by saying: this is not a helpful question. The truth is: typically anywhere from zero to twenty-five, but this has no bearing on you. For all of the dean’s mapping and modeling, we really have no idea what will happen in a given year. If enough of our admitted students are excited to come to Tufts, we won’t use the wait list at all. If it sleets during all of our admitted students’ programs this April and everyone decides to go to Seventy-And-Sunny-Year-Round University instead of Tufts, we could take quite a few students off the wait list. There’s no way to know until the enrollment deadline on May 1st.
