No. I didn’t get notified either way. I got accepted EA in December with a $5k scholarship. I am hoping to get some additional scholarship with the PTA.
Reading from last year forum, students that got $25-32k at the time of acceptance didn’t get additional funds at this scholarship round (maybe an additional $1k for applying)
I was wondering for those who got the Paul Tulane Award, if it appears listed in Gibson.
I didn’t access my son’s portal. My understanding is that the PTA award shows up under the Financial Aid portal. You have to accept the terms and conditions - then the $ is funded in the accounting portal - the only portal that I have access. If you earn one of the full tuition scholarships - in the fall - you are invited to a Presidential reception - bring appropriate clothing. I believe all merit scholarship holders are asked to provide a bio for the alumni donors and attached to the application is a long list of additional scholarships. Since my son had a full tuition scholarship - he was not eligible for any of the additional scholarships. At our local admitted student event, one parent asked the Admission Officer and the student representatives if there were scholarship opportunities after freshman year - and the female student said she was awarded a scholarship from sophomore year forward. I would recommend those on the fence due to financing - find out through the admissions officers how likely and or what type of scholarship are available after enrollment. Best of luck to all.
Are you sure those “fund” and “term” boxes haven’t been there all along? I haven’t paid that close attention but I wasn’t certain those were new.
Hi! I’m a deferred “high stat” ea applicant. So Admission decision pending review on gibson is new and potentially a good sign? it says established and requested for that and my FAFSA. im also a Paul Tulane Scholarship applicant.

@lavendermary @obfromjersey are you sure the fund and term columns weren’t always there? I have them too, but I don’t know that I paid enough attention to that page set up. I think they are new but not 100% certain. Thanks
@happytimesforever Yes, I am confident they were not there before. I have no way of knowing whether it was random, but we did notice that change the day before the status update.

@purplecattt I think it is the fund and term columns that are new, not the decision pending. At least for us, we had the decision pending for quite awhile. Do you have theFund and term?

Several people have posted that they received PTA and DHS on Friday. Congratulations to all the winners!
Where did you see it posted for the PTA?
I just called the office and the lady said that no one has been notified of if they received their PTA award yet and that they will ALL be released on Friday. I don’t know how some people claim to already have received their PTA notification.
