Tulane Class of 2023

13% RD acceptance rate too according to reddit

whattt

@Acortez122 where did you see that?

I was accepted EA and at my revisit day the head of admissions said the acceptance rate was just under 14%

Yeah! The acceptance rate for Tulane this year is just under 14%. In October, an admissions counselor came to my school and said that typically 75-80% of ED or EA applicants are accepted and only 15% of RD and deferred applicants are accepted. I also went to the Multicultural Fly-In Program at Tulane and the admissions counselors said that there would be a 12-13% acceptance rate this year as they had a record number of applications this year.

WHYYYYYYY

I’ve been rejected and waitlisted at 8 schools in a row… hoping tulane comes through. 88 GPA 34 ACT deferred EA, 2.1 last semester but didn’t send it

just an unrelated question… Is there any REAL ICE rink in New Orlanes? I am a figure skater so IF i’m going to Tulane, this will be a critical issue

It should be 4:30 EST not 5:00 EST…

Besides being a great school, maybe no application fees and their marketing budget must be very large. I received more paper mail from them over the past 9 months than any other school 10 times over. Also received tons of e-mails, more than any other school.

@BelJeanW, no there is no real ice rink in NOLA. My son’s favorite sport is ice hockey, but he will be giving that up to go to Tulane. Closest rink is like 150 miles away! Used to have a rink on campus but was demolished to build something else…which meant no more Tulane club hockey.

Does Tulane send the decisions through the portal, via email or a regular mail letter?

@igmp70 Portal for sure today.

Got waitlisted NYU, but accepted EA Tulane
