What does it look like on your portal? Like on the portal looks different?
Yes it says “new status update” and you click on it and the acceptance letter is there just like it is in the mail, and green confetti comes on the screen. @UofMorMSU
My daughter was thrilled to check her status on the portal (thanks to all your posts that made we wonder if it was a good time to check), see “click here for update”, and find the green confetti waiting on the screen.
Her ED application was sent 10/8 and marked complete on the portal on 10/14. Nothing received by mail yet.

We are so excited about the scholarship also! I wonder if the scholarship denominations are different this year? I had understood the academic merit scholarship to be $20000 a year in the past - does anyone know if I had that correct?
So happy for her and hopeful for all of you that you get good news soon!
There are multiple levels of scholarships.
Our son received his acceptance yesterday in the mail (we’re in the Southeast) as well as seeing it on the application portal.
His ED application was marked complete on 10/18. He received the Academic Merit Scholarship ("$17,000 annually totaling $68,000 over the four years of your undergraduate career"). He has a 34 ACT and a 3.4 UWGPA at a rigorous private boarding school.
We are thrilled and can’t wait for him to be a part of Tulane!!!
Good luck to all that are waiting for news.
Congrats to everyone!

[]General Comments/Advice/Hindsight: D has a few passions and has gone deep with them. She did not try to fill out a full list of activities but really focused on the few things that really mean a lot to her (dance, school spirit). She used her experience with dance to explain who she is and how she tackles challenges.
@College4Juju it was $25,000.
Congrats to everyone who has been accepted!! It seems as though everyone who has been accepted has received a scholarship… has anyone been accepted that has not received a scholarship? (I’m wondering if they are releasing those decisions earlier than others)
Congratulations everyone! So exciting to see all these acceptances!
@Quigleymom what does marked complete mean?
I submitted my common app on the 18th but my counselor didn’t send all of my stuff until the 27th and right now my portal just says “We now have all materials required to review your application! Application Submitted: 10/18/2016”
Does that mean I’ll get my decision soon or?
Below that it should say “now have all your materials”. In a box it says what they have with a green check next to each item & the date each was received. For my D there are different dates received for ACT, transcrpits, personal statement etc. Hope this helps. The date of her common app being received is different and earlier than everything else.
@Quigleymom, I just responded but forgot to put your name. it’s listed as post 136. Hope that helps.
@snorkelT Congratulations to you and your daughter!! Where on the application portal was the “click here for update” located?
I applied October 10th, my application was all in by the 16th and I heard back yesterday
I know it’s not as fun to report, but has anyone been denied?
