There are currently two NoPass(NP) courses on my transcript.
I didn’t pass two math courses because they were hard.
Should I just explain that two courses were hard?

That’s probably not the best way to explain it. Math is supposed to be difficult. Most classes are supposed to be difficult.
What math was it? What university and major are you trying to get into?

UC Berkeley and UCLA with B.A. Anthropology major
It was Calculus and I was taking it for IGETC fulfillment.
Now, I am taking Stats to fulfill that instead.
Ah. Well I guess that’s better than them actually being important to your major, but “it was hard” doesn’t cut. People take hard classes all the time, often while facing a multitude of other issues. I mean, you can use that as your excuse, but I don’t expect it would be taken very seriously.
I think your best bet is to take Stats for a letter grade and kill it. I personally wouldn’t address to NP grades. You can make an “excuse” for 1 NP, but 2, for the same class, pretty much says “I do t understand the material”. No need to bring further attention to it.
@briank82 Yeah, this worries me the most. On top of that, there is 4 Ws over my shoulder. However, I will take Stats and ace THAT! Hopefully, that’ll do.
@2016Candles Hm, that’s what I planned to do. Hopefully, I’ll get an A in Stats and see what will happen. It is my best hope to keep 4.0 until the time of application.
