Anyone accepted on 21 March heard about his financial aid yet?
@Ihab2222 we haven’t but from previous posts sounds like about a week later is merit first then later is full financial aid info.
@SuperGymnast_04 …that is nice. Congrats. What is your viewpoint on the aid for next 3 years. If financial situation similar the aid will be similar …
To all the questions on financial aid after year 1, I would imagine it’s the same at all colleges. You apply each year to ensure things are the same, if no changes shouldn’t really be different. They want to make sure you didn’t win the lottery or get a big inheritance or something. Also in your favor it’s helpful to be yearly if for example you have another child starting college and overlaps with the other.
i dont even have my decision yoh. when is the final batch coming yoh
Accepted from Pakistan!! 1520 SAT, 4 A*s in the first year of my A level (my school doesn’t have GPA) Does anyone have any idea when the financial aid awards will be released?
@sufian congratulations! My D was accepted on 3/21 and still waiting on merit and financial aid. From others posting seems roughly a week or so after for merit and another week for full package.
They just sent out an email that said I got a Research and Innovation Grant. Excited!
@physicsfuture were you accepted 21 March?
No February 21st or 19th or something like that.
I received my financial aid a couple weeks ago, and I learned yesterday that I got a Research and Innovation Grant!
Has anyone heard about aid as yet who were accepted on march 21st? The wait is killing me, especially since as the days go by all im doing is getting more rejections
@Boardwalls08 I was accepted on 21 march but nothing yet. however, Rochester is committed to meet 100% of the need to all accepted students so I think we should relax and wait.
@Ihab2222 Well that’s a relief!
100% need AFTER your family expected contribution, which every university calculates their own way.
We got our packet this morning. Ironically we were up for accepted student day. D didn’t get any merit but did receive more FA than we expected (which was none, really) It’s her top choice but no idea if we can make it work.
I still haven’t received my decision. Is this normal?
@WannabeCollegeStudent I was accepted on March 9 and received a merit scholarship (Whipple Science and Research Scholarship) within a week. Have you heard anything back from them as of now?
Does anyone know when it is likely to hear back from the about a decision on wait listed students.
Did u get an email telling u as well? Or just mail?
