I'm 18, currently attending the University of Alaska Anchorage. I'm taking 16 credits, my GPA should be a 4.0 by the end of this semester. I am a geology major and plan to study geology in graduate school. I'm currently considering Berkeley, MIT, and University of Washington, but I am open to suggestions. My high school GPA was a 3.89. I couldn't tell you my SAT scores at the moment, but I know they were well above average (I'll see if I can find them soon). I took AP Language and Composition in high school and got a 4 on the AP exam. I was kind of lazy in high school and did no extra circulars. I was admitted to NHS, but only went to one meeting. I'm much more ambitious now however. If I can manage a 4.0 this (fall) semester and a 3.8 next (spring) semester, what then are my chances in being accepted as a OOS transfer student by the above mentioned school? Also, what are some other options I should consider for a geology major/master? Thank you in advance.
