it'll probably be great for all AP loaded CC'ers :]
*and yes...I know a lot of people will think it is stupid, crazy that "I have better things to do that research how to survive with less sleep" and that sleep is heaven...but I think sleeping only 2-3 hours a time is great...once again my opinion >.<

"I have better things to do that research how to survive with less sleep"
ive done that SOOOOOOOOOooooooooo much its not funny.

this seems solid, ive read it before actually. only probably is, i can't tell my Calc teacher im on a sleep schedule and if i could please sleep through the first half of his class.

when i think about it, this plan is COMPLETELY UNDOABLE if you are a weightlifting or athlete. there is literally no recovery time for muslces that need to rebuild and grow. that counts me out :( (at least until i get a wife and don't need to keep up appearances)

Question...
Does anyone here feel guilty if you don't stay awake until midnight,
or sleep too much???
That's kind of my problem...and it sucks bad...

i don't feel guilty. i feel compelled to. i feel guilty when i sleep till 3 tho, which ive done a couple times this month. i started my terrible sleeping habits by playing world of warcraft. i remember in 9th grade being like "i wish i could watch Viva la bam at 10:30, but thats too late.". i laugh at the thought of that now.In 10th grade feeling guilty when i watched "Geroldo at large" come on at 11 on Fox. Then in 11th grade i just hit the wall. it became custom to go to bed at like 2! i had study hall 2nd period, which i don't recall too well cause i was asleep 90% of the time. the last few weeks of 11th grade, 3:30 was custom. Such a downward spiral... . during my junior year summer i sleep alot sooner, which means 11:30 to me, because i had gotten seriously into weightlifting, and you grow in sleep, not in the gym. in August, my quest began to defeat sleep. the battle isn't going well.

I would love to do this, except:
-I don't think it would be good for us who are under 18, it is even mentioned in the blog
-The only conceivable time I would have to sleep at school would be lunch, and well, during lunch, I sort of like to eat lunch.
-I think it would negativly impact my sport

Sigh It would be so nice to have those extra hours for studying.

man...i didn't read that part about 18 years or younger
I did a trial today, and my "nap" was 4 hours long...sigh
I was thinking
7:00 sleep at bus (exactly 32 mins..)
11:00 sleep at lunch
3:00 sleep at bus
7:00 nap at home
...
my schedule was perfect T.T
but I'm not sure if its gonna work....
everyone's talking about how its bad for muscles which kind of suks
becomes i'm an athlete too...T.T
Oh well...maybe I'll try it in the summer :P

:)
whoops!
the thing is i really need time to pull up my grades to a high A
(though the first step could be getting off CC...lol)
but i wasn't really considering the affects of polyphasic sleep on my muscles...
T.T. shucks..

umm i wanna try it. I made up this schedule where i would sleep 30 min every 6 hours which evens out to 2 hours of sleep in 24 hours. 530 in morning. 1130 at lunch. 530 at home. 1130 at home. BAM it works out with school. But then again.. it says do not try under 18 which probably means that this Ubermans sleep probably skips over the part of sleep that lets us grow a little extra. When ure over 18.. u dont really need to grow. THats probably the case. DAMMIT

Honestly, this isn't the best thing you can do for your body. This seems like a last resort type of thing for people who can't put in a solid block of 6 a day. Trying to alter your natural circadian cycle just seems to be begging for trouble.
