Isn’t biochem part of L&S? Or did you get into Chemical Biology?

@Berkaderka i think they changed the name but yeah its Chemical biology and on my acceptance letter it says college of chemistry

Is FPF San Francisco good? Is the commute annoying? Help plz :frowning:

When is the third wave ?

The commute to San Francisco is not bad. BART is very close to campus and will take you into San Francisco. There are also busses that will bring you in. SF is just across the bay bridge so not far, but traffic can be bad which is why BART trains are usually a better option. Not sure if Berkeley has a shuttle for FPF San Francisco

@sfbay Do you know how long the commute is :)?

Another confused international EECS student here. No change in FAQs what so ever.

Stats

SATs - 2090
Subject SATs - 3x800 in Physics, Chem and Math 2
A Levels - Predicted 5A*s in Maths, Further Math, Physics, Chemistry, Economics.

Good luck to everyone else who is waiting! Really hope that the EECS seats have already been filled up…

@stillwaiting98 did you get in? You hope that eecs seats have already been filled up? Lol

Can someone please call and ask whether there will be another wave? Will international students get any more of the remaining spots?

Commute to SF about half an hour. Actual BART train ride is under 10 minutes, but you have to wait for the train to arrive. Driving time depends on traffic

How much gift aid are you guys being offered?

They want me to pay $58k. F**king ridiculous.

How can you justify such a high cost? I’m out of state btw.

And are you concerned about their budget crisis?

After we SIR, we have to wait a day or so until we can pick FPF San Fran?

Out of curiosity, I looked at my aid. It said “Mr. Blutarsky: zero point zero zero”

Who woulda guessed Georgetown would be cheaper than a state school?

Did anyone from EECS get off the waitlist? Are they still taking people in off the waitlist?

@mydream2 It feels like EECS may be over-enrolled… it does not seem they will have any spots available now… I think it is time for me to move on… :frowning: .

@sloppychair Sorry, I meant to say 'Really hope that the EECS seats haven’t already been filled up…"

I was too sleepy to read through what I wrote. ops

A little late but was accepted off The wait list (L&S) on May 10th!

Not to sound shady by asking, but how many of you who were accepted are actually going to Berkeley? I’m just curious to see how much hope I’ll have in the third wave. Also, does anyone know when they’re going to stop sending out acceptances? Is it when the FPF program is filled at both campuses, or when the FPF program AND the January enrollment are filled? Sorry if that’s a little unclear.
