@nontraditional my conditional admisison didnt list tht planned class yesterday but today it does, im confused.

i was recently admitted under sociology! i am interested in joining a group chat/page so we can connect and get to know each other. i know that recent posts including links/ig usernames were recently deleted but if anyone has anyway of letting me know or message me where i can find yāall iād love to know

I didnāt meet the conditions of admission (I did an exceptional withdrawal from a class because I didnāt have the technology to complete it online) and withdrew my application Friday evening. So, Iām 100% out of the running for the 2020/21 school year. I just want to make sure Iām doing what I can to still be competitive when I apply again.
There is an official facebook group that you can join. If you search āUC Berkeley Transfer Class of 2022 (Official)ā you should be able to find it. Someone also linked a GroupMe chat on there that you could check out.

@anishtheind I also got into UCSC CS and Berkeley undeclared! Iām not sure what Iām leaning towards tbh. My friends at Berkeley tell me itās getting harder to get into what you want

For anyone concerned about dropping a class, I emailed admissions a week before admission decisions came out and they told me if the class I am dropping isnāt needed for units, my major, or IGETC then I can drop it without it affecting my admission decision

Does this mean we only have to finish the courses listed? Or finish every planned and in-progress coursesā¦ Whatās the point of the course list?

Hello all, I applied as a bio major and got in, but will be rescinding my admission Wednesday if I get into UCSB, so there should be one more spot for those of you waitlisted!
Major: Genetics/ Plant Biology
GPA: 3.83
Honors: hell no
EC: 100s of volunteer hours, club, worked part-time
Honestly I just think I had strong essays, idk
This is the only acceptance Iāve received so hard to tell. Iām 35 and have 3 kids which I think boosted me in many ways financially and with the admissions.
@dwightv, Data Science seems pretty easy to declare. Thereās no gpa requirement, just have to pass all the pre-reqs

hi! I was just wondering if Cal is going to send us a physical package and acceptance letter or we have to SIR first?
I SIRd and completed all my tasks but out of the blue my cal central account says my application was withdrawn.
Needless to say Iām freaking out right now.
Has this happened to anyone?

@anishtheind really? my friends told me itās one of the most popular majors at berkeley now. donāt be fooled by the GPA cutoff.
Either way Iām definitely opting for another UC simply because Iām waaayyyyy more interested in CS and donāt want to pursue a graduate degree in Data Science.
