Has anyone already taken the math placement test? If so, how did you do and what was it like?
Also, does anyone know when we’ll actually receive our final fin aid package and how will we receive it: by checks or cash?

If you selected direct deposit, it goes into your selected bank account. If you did not select direct deposit for receiving financial aid, you receive it as a check, and also, ONLY the amount of financial aid left over after your tuition has been paid for will be given to you. If, after your tuition is paid, you do NOT have any financial aid left over for THAT particular quarter, you will not receive a check or any deposits into your bank account because all the financial aid available for that quarter has been used up.

The financial aid package will kick in a few days before the due date to pay for fall classes (September 15).

My daughter took the math placement test yesterday, and so she won’t know her score for a few days yet. She did confirm what somebody else here said, that the questions are very similar to the ones on the sample tests.

My D took her test earlier this week and has since go her scores as well.

I took it a few days ago and just got my results for the college of Biological Sciences. TBH I thought it was medium. I took the whole time w/ about 20 secs to spare. I forgot a lot of the trig stuff and logarithms. I tested into the 21A class which is surprising. I didn’t even take pre-calc in high school. I took geometry, alg 2 (not w/ trig), AMT (covered a little trig but not much), and then AP Stat. I think because it;s multiple choice its easier to do better and be placed in a higher class than you deserve. I don’t feel confident in my Trig or Log stuff so I think I should take the 16 series.
