UC Davis Transfer Fall 2018--Discussion Post

@wwoooohoo I called (530) 752-2804 and no one answered and I couldnt even leave a voicemail because it said the inbox was full. what is going on

I am just curious about what you guys get. If you go to your UCDavis account and click on finances, then my bill and then you are prompted to students and staff login. Then, if you click on deposits, select fall 2018 term and then you can see a “select a deposit” option. I am getting two options: residence hall and student housing apartments. I was wondering if this might be an indication of admission since the “student housing apartment” option was not there before?

@ebonylmocanu i have it too. and you’re right it wasnt there before. anyone else?

@ebonylmocanu @vinram925 I have it as well

Yep, I have those options as well.

Just checked and I have both options as well.

I think it’s a good sign! I mean why would we have that option if we got rejected? So maybe it means we got accepted or at least waitlisted  (fingers crossed)

I can sign in to the mybill thing too. Is there anyone that can’t at this point? I’ve seen a few people post that others could sign into it last year and weren’t admitted so I’m taking it super lightly… the wait is killing me I don’t have much of my fingernails left at this point lol. Here are my stats in case anyone is interested:

Major: Animal Science, graduating with 2 AS degrees from a CCC

GPA: 3.2
Honors
No TAG
IGETC done
Leadership roles: 4H FFA EPIC Cal-SOAP
ECs: volunteer animal conservation work- Wildtracks Belize, Elephant rehab Thailand, ACE (African Conservation Experience) etc…

My insight ?s and ECs i’m really proud of, which I hope will help since my GPA is relatively low… fingers crossed, good luck everyone!

I have those options as well. This is my first time going into anything but the admission portal so I’m not sure if it was there previously.

Yea, I’m very skeptical about the mybill trick … a sibling of a friend reported that he was able to log in when he had applied for Fall 2017, but was later denied and then he was unable to access any of the previous things he’d seen before.

So… does anyone know the percentage of those who recieve the regents offer vs. those who are actually granted regents? Is it one of those things where if you fill out the application they send you (and put some time into it) you’ll probably get it, or is it really super competitive beyond just recieving the supplementary application?

accidental double post, sorry #-o

@ebonylmocanu I wouldn’t look too much into it. My cousin and I tried it last year when we were transferring. She had the offer for housing but I didn’t. When admissions came out, she got rejected but I was accepted. Be patient! I honestly think you guys will receive acceptances next week because picnic day is the week after (4/21). Don’t take my word for it though. Good luck to you and everyone else!

@wwoooohoo @vinram925 @ohbeebee Have you guys successfully contacted them yet about Regents? What did they say? I just checked my application and mine was wiped out too.

@fillory-guy33 I looked for an email but I couldn’t find one, and according to people on here the phone number directs to some random professor, so I have no idea how to contact them…

@@ebonylmocanu Im also able to acces that but theres no way im getting n, ( i missing two major prep courses for davis) and have not even signed up for those courses for any quarter this year. I wouldnt think too much of it

After having to completely redo my regents application because of that random reset, I am finally done… again. 8-|

April 20th (popular prediction) here we come!

My regents application I filled out, including an ENTIRE essay, was wiped out! wth

What were the qualifications for regents? I have a 3.6 was that not enough? @ChavBruvSat @jonathaanv

Might be a little late to the discussion, but is the popular consensus that we get notified April 20th or earlier? Someone mentioned that picnic day was the day after so now I’m wondering.
