<p>My GPA went down after fall semester 2013. I submitted my fall grades in late January and I'm wondering if fall grades are calculated into the overall GPA for the application process. When I had initially applied in November, my GPA was a lot higher. Could this take a big toll on my admission? I'm still above a 3.0... AHH! Can someone please help me?</p>

<p>Why make sure to complete IGETC? My counselors said it wasn’t needed and I got into UCSB without IGETC with a subpar GPA</p>

<p>Where did he mention UCB? And you said someone got in with a 3.15, and it can’t be at UCB because they didn’t release their decisions yet, so you’re referring to another school.</p>
<p>Anyways, I think IGETC completion is dependent on your major. I was told not to complete it and I am a computer science major.</p>
<p>@ Matt4200 My GPA dropped by .2, which is huge… I completed all my pre-reqs for my major AND recommended pre-reqs. The recommended pre-req is what killed me last semester. I have ONE class left to complete my ITGEC (which I’m currently enrolled), but I’m just freaking out b/c I haven’t received any acceptance from schools that I applied to.

<p>@gawdzillah Matt is pbb referring to UCB b/c I have also commented on a topic for UCB. I think as far as the 3.15 GPA comment, he’s referring to the previous year. </p>

<p>I don’t think you should be freaking out yet because most of the admissions haven’t even been released yet. Only a few people get notified in the first batch.</p>
<p>Well what is your GPA now? But I think if it’s above 3 it’s still good for most schools. My GPA dropped .1 after the TAU, and it wasn’t even good to begin with lol.</p>
