UC gpa question (community college course weightage)

If a community class is UC transferable, but not listed as a-g class on the UC a-g course list website, does it still give extra point for the weighted gpa as a ‘g’ course?

eg I am taking the CSIT110 course at miracosta college,

but its not listed as a a-g course at

Is it listed as a required or recommended course for your major pre-req’s in assist.org?

short answer is, Yes.

If it is UC transferable, it should be listed under the A-G courses and it should get the extra weighting. Did you ask Mira Costa about this since it is listed in assist.org as a major course and also in their catalog as UC transferable course. Maybe the a-g course list has not been updated?
