Are we supposed to just keep checking every hour of everyday?
Next year fall 2021 applicants are gonna check this thread for clues and see like 31+ pages of people being stressed out and frustrated

I literally am at a point where I donāt want to check again until the end of April lol just so for sure a decision will be up
32 pages of expecting the āfirst waveā of acceptances lol

Hi everyone, I just wanted to commiserate. I wish UCI would let us know if decisions are delayed bc of covid- Iām kind of annoyed weāre being left in the dark. UCI isnāt my top choice, but their Instagram post made me think I should keep checkingā¦ I just wish we could have more concrete information

I wish UCI would at least make an update or send an email in regards to decisions being late because of COVID-19 or not. Instead their Instagram is posting challenges/funny videos while some people are genuinely stressed out. Especially with the uncertainty of whether campuses will be open Fall 2020 or not, people need to plan these things in advance asap.
Yeah, I completely agree! It would be really nice to have a little information on whether or not notifications will be delayed.
Was anything mentioned about UCI extending their dates for SIR due to COVID-19? Or are all the deadlines the same?
If they are the same that makes me even more anxious. Thatās less time to get things in especially if the decisions are late.
I just messaged the Instagram page asking if there is a delayā¦ so I guess we will see

I didnāt make an account and simply read all your guysās comments to stay updated but I finally made one cause Iām so annoyed!! I really thought it was going to be today T_T I donāt even know if Iām going to get in (went to UCSB and did poorly but transferred to CC and got 4.0) but Iād rather get rejected now if anything!! Do you guys think theyād accept more students with the virus going on? Less? The same? I was kind of hoping theyād accept more because maybe they lost money with closing campus.
I read somewhere else that because of COVID-19, a lot of international students and probably some out of state students will rescind their applications or opt for universities closer to them and a big portion of the UCās get money from the international students. Iām hoping this means they will consider accepting more California residents honestly.

Does all of TAG hear back at the same time? Or do they roll for TAG too?
I chatted with UCI admission like couple of days ago and I was told that the COVID-19 situation would not cause any delay. I again chatted w them this morning and I was told that theyāll stick with the time frame for the decisions which is early April!!!
