UC Winter Transfer/Preqrequisites

Hi, I'm a CCC student trying to figure out when to transfer. I have two questions:

Which UCs accept winter transfer?

For a fall transfer, do UCs allow a student to finish prerequisites the summer before transferring?

Thanks.

Winter/Spring admissions look impossible at all UCs, unfortunately. I know Berkeley has spring admits, but they apply during fall and are stuck waiting an extra semester, they don’t really get a choice in the matter.

I don’t think any schools consider planned summer coursework during admission time… but missing one or two pre-reqs usually won’t kill your chances, and you can still take summer classes so you’re not behind, it just won’t help you much during admissions.

Oh wait, looking back at this, the chart asks:
“Can the 60-transferable-unit minimum requirement be completed in summer prior to fall enrollment?”

That’s not what I’m worried about. I want to know if I can finish the prerequisites for civil engineering during the summer before transferring. Or maybe I just missed something in the document.

You can take prereqs during summer before transferring, but those courses will not be considered by Admissions when determining whether or not to accept you. Only classes completed by Spring are used in admissions consideration.
