@Ohm888 - i saw your answer regarding having a lot of associate degrees and how your stance has changed on it. I was curious as to what you would think of a student who has been at a CCC for two years (so since fall 2018) and will have 7 associate degrees when graduating from CCC this spring? Is it weird? is it frowned upon? what do you think?
Hi everyone! I am a transfer student and applied to Haas for fall 2020. Does anybody know what it means if we did not get an email for the online interviews? I also wanna ask, does our supplemental essay affect our application of getting into Haas? Thank you
Hello, no interview, based on past findings, essentially means that you’re either 100% in or 100% out. The interview process is used to decide applicants who they need clarification on or are essentially borderline.
and to the latter half, yes, they are incredibly important.
I’ve also received an email regarding the “video interview” but cannot find the questions or what type of interview it is.
Seems that there is no interviewer, rather 6 general questions and a timer on the screen while watching yourself on the webcam.
Reading other posts I’ve seen people have been interviewed by an alumni, but this may have been for the mba not undergraduate.
Would really like to know how to prepare. Best of luck to everyone.
@heyigotnoclue I’m not sure if that’s 100% true as basically everyone who was interviewed last year got accepted. And the couple who weren’t interviewed up here did not get in. Obviously there are numerous variables but I think the main takeaway is no one knows the exact purpose. So people should not be upset if they were requested to interview or not.
By the way, does any of you guys know someone who got into haas without the interview with a 3.7 gpa? Bcs I’m actually a bit concerned and nervous for not getting an email for the interview invitation today. I’m wishing y’all the best of luck with the interview to those of you who got the invitation! And those who haven’t gotten the email, let’s cross our fingers and don’t lose hope!

Rapid fire round maybe lol sounds like a ridiculous idea because I literally have to rush with my words and I might end up not saying enough in one minute
I’m actually shocked. I applied with a 3.3 GPA and received an invitation for the video interview. I’ll gladly take the opportunity rather than a flat out rejection!
I’ve been practicing answering potential interview questions in front of a camera since yesterday. I’ll be submitting my video as soon as I get back from work tomorrow (our company is deemed an essential service despite the Shelter in Place order) so I’ll post the questions later in the evening if that may help anyone.
