Do y’all know if they will offer fin. aid/scholarship money for summer term? Also will fafsa pay for some of it.

@jrongo I applied end of July for summer

It’s almost the same stats as @celeste

Celeste96, see the following link:

[Student Financial Assistance, UCF](http://finaid.ucf.edu/applying/summer2013_aid.html)

Note that the above link is for summer 2013…but I would think it still applies for summer 2014 (but update the dates for FAFSA…2012-2013 becomes 2013-2014…)

You will need to fill out the 2013-2014 FAFSA to be considered for financial aid for the summer (this is something you can do now). After Jan 1, you will also need to complete the 2014-2015 FAFSA for the Fall and Spring terms.

Please contact the Office of Student Financial Assistance to get all of your questions answered. For example, you will be offered FA (if qualified) for Fall/Spring 2014-15(based on completing the 2014-2015 FAFSA), but you will be offered a separate package for the summer (based on the 2013-2014 FAFSA). Going to summer doesn’t take away from any of your Federal Aid (pell grant), as you will be awarded a separate amount for the summer term. Ask them about bright futures, etc…

Good Luck!

PS: Use the following link to estimate your federal aid for 2013-14…

Actually @jrongo my weighted gpa is 3.97

@brittanybp You have a good chance for summer considering that you have similar stats to both me and @celeste haha. I hope you get in! You can always raise your SAT score while you wait. I’m still taking the SAT next weekend.

any of you out of state?

So I was getting excited because my status changed but it says something like "we are pending your admission decision because of your immigration status , this may affect your admission/ scholarship availability , so please send in proof of a residence card at your earliest convenience " I got really excited . So does this mean once I send in proof of I will get accepted ? It seems like it !
