UCI Regent Scholar or UCLA?

I may get nominated at ucla too, but I don't think I will...What would you do...?

Depends…Is An extra 7500 in your pocket worth it? If so, choose UCI, but if not, go to UCLA.

Also, regents isn’t automatic. You’ll be competing with the best of the best students, and if your writing and analytical skills aren’t up to snuff, you’ll lose out on the rewards and prestige.

Personally, I’d choose UCLA. I highly doubt I would win since I’m a negative person, but who knows? You might!

Wait… at uci, even though I am in regents, I could easily lose it? …Or are you referring to ucla (because I already know that)? I doubt I will be in the 190 that they choose. I was recently rejected from my community college scholarship pool…■■■…yet I can get into ucla…? At ucla I think the scholarship is 2,000 a year, right? At uci it is 2,500 a year.

I don’t know too much about Regents, but I know for a fact it isn’t automatic. You’ll have to fight for it by punching other students and writing an essay worthy of seducing kate upton

haha…I already wrote the 300(or 200?) word essay, so well shall see how seductive my writing is

I don’t know where I got 7500 from. It sounded about right, but 2k sounds more reasonable…

Ya, haha, I was thinking damn, ya, I want the 7500!

UCLA probably, despite living right across the street from UCI.

I also live near UCI, but I’ll be attending UCLA as a commuter.
