<p>congrats! UCI usually sends out in early March, well ahead of their official notification deadline.</p>
<p>i sent them about my decline in an academic grade due to my mother's illness through the msg cntr like the admissions asked me to and i got an auto reply saying this: "We have received your communication that you have a grade deficiency. Since
we are in the process of reviewing over 40,000 applications we are unable to
advise you as to what impact this change may have on your UC eligibility
and/or admission to UCI. Please note that if you are admitted, the
information you have submitted may result in our offer of admission being
withdrawn."</p>
<p>uci is one of my dream schools... i hate the fact that ive had to go through such extenuous circumstances at an early age...
..is it a doom for me..?</p>
<p>It's not a doom. You should also contact your assigned counselor through the message center and tell him/her about this.</p>
<p>i got into UCI Tooo! one of my friend got accepted to UCLA already though, and his test scores and gpa arent better than mines...</p>
