@richhardry Don’t worry! UCLA had many more applicants than UC Berkeley. Also, Berkeley is a lot more holistic in their review, so do not give up on hope <33 Everything will be fine

Congrats on your A-Levels !!
(I’m from LA but I’ve watched a lot of youtube videos of students from the UK talking about how difficult they are LOL)

does ucla have regents? if so, when are regents scholars notified? or would they have already been notified with their acceptance letter yesterday

@traveler2000 Regents were already notified by means of their financial aid packages found on myUCLA.

@teachmama2 There is very litttle merit aid to begin with. If she gets off the waitlist she most likely will only get qualified need based aid as the little merit aid goes directly to initially accepted students

Does everyone only apply for one major or multiple choices so that if the impacted major fail, you can still be accepted for your 2nd choice?

@annibytheday Congrats on getting accepted to the nursing program! What do you believe made you stand out? (grades, test scores, extracurriculars, voulenteer hours?)

@Awakefish If you are in L&S you aren’t in any major yet. Everyone is a pre major until they complete pre reqs which is usually betweeen spring freshmanyear to sophomore year. The “major” everyone just got into just serves as a guideline for picking classes at orientation.

@starshine0809 international admits do get acceptance packages. Although the mail takes longer to get there. Congrats!

@traveler2000 UCLA does have regents. You would have been notified if you got it yesterday on the portal.
