<p>Everybody two things that i think need to be clarified: </p>
<p>You are only responsible for the pre-reqs that are offered at your cc most cc have the same pre-reqs every once in a while there will be a classes offered somewhere else but does not happen very often</p>
<p>Next, When you are in TAP and are choosing your alternate major, you cannot choose a major that is on the impacted this, alternate major has to be a non-impacted so I am sure that you cannot apply to sociology major since it is impacted</p>

<p>Note: TAP Certification is granted to qualified students applying to traditional majors in the UCLA College of Letters and Science, and non-impacted alternate majors in the College of Letters and Science. TAP Certification does not carry the priority transfer consideration benefit for students applying to majors outside of the College of Letters and Science (e.g., Film/TV, Theatre, Art, Architecture, Design/Media, Engineering, Nursing, etc.).</p>
<p>again, it says nothign about communications being excluded</p>
