@sanfranciscogurl next batch should be in about three days (assuming there is one) when the wait listed people reject/ accept and more spots open up

I applied for computer science. It’d be pretty unfair if they decide not to accept any people for engineering.

Got in in-state for Ecology. Wrote a roughly 350 word essay about why I wanted to go to UCLA and about extracurricular accomplishments. Didn’t report fall grades bc they were mehh lol. Good luck to the rest of you!

If I’m in-state and have not been notified yet, does that mean I probably didn’t get off the waitlist? (I just checked my portal and it says “** Note: Not all decisions have been made for students on the waitlist. ** Decisions will be made on a rolling basis throughout the month of May and will be posted here on our decision site. Please continue to check back. An email will also be sent to notify you once a decision has been made.”…but it seems like most people got their acceptances today???)
@califoriniacondor Maybe the next wave (if there’s one?). Just because they haven’t accepted you doesn’t mean they won’t. I hope they start accepting international applicants as well.

Are they releasing waitlist acceptance base on majors? Seems to have a lot of science majors being accepted
