@HankCT - My daughter has the same thing as you on her page.
@tommc1 Thanks so much
@HankCT Hey, back in november i also had the same concern. When I called the admissions office, they said they did have my fafsa and letters. The reason why the LOR isn’t showing is because its not technically required they said- im sure you are fine!
yes, send them. Our guidance office just sent them to all the students colleges on Feb 7th.
for whoever got accepted, did you find out through checking the portal?
No, I got a letter in the mail, then a couple days later I got an email
Do they release soon?
Just looked at portal and it says system will be down for the weekend…maybe that means they are getting ready to update them?
I think it referred to 3/15 not the 2/15, no?
@bearden damn you’re right…I looked to quick…wishful thinking on my part
Last year decisions came out on 2/28. If that’s the case for this year, decisions are 13 days away
Has anyone heard back that applied to the DMD program?
I saw on FB that a student had heard back, but you should be hearing very soon since School of Fine Arts releases decisions first.
Could someone chance me for honors ?
1350 SAT
29 ACT
3.83 GPA
lots of aps lots of ecs
@janeeyre1 I have the same SAT with a little higher GPA, and I am definitely not excepting to get in. The honors program bare minimum in previous years is 1400; but you never know. Number of AP’s and honors matters a lot too. good luck!
Sorry if this was asked/answered earlier…how does UConn let applicants know decision is made and ready for viewing? Email? Or you have to just keep checking the portal?
@RJA The portal states that decisions will be posted there. Last year, it appears that online decisions were released on 2/28 and followed up about a week later with a letter via snail mail with merit and honors decisions. A few decisions for specific majors such as fine arts came out earlier.
Seems like they often release on a Friday - my son is going to keep checking tomorrow.
@jdcollegedad, thanks. So you they don’t send an email first to say, hey, check the portal now? Many schools send that email with the actual decision in the body of the email.
hey @RJA , uconn '22 student here! i basically had to check the portal morning and night the last 2 weeks of february before decisions came out on 2/28/18 at 8/9pm est
