Anyone know about the honors program? He knew about CCS and applied to that but we donāt know much about the honors program. Love any info people have to share. I suspect deciding between CWRU and UCSB will be the decision factor as Princeton is a long shot and he did not really care for UCB.
I got admitted! i had an UC gpa of 4.0
I got 1050 on both my SATās and I got a 21 on my ACT.
I am also getting around 26,000 dollars in financial aid as it was stated in my unofficial letter. I could get a pell grant and a UCSB scholarship for financial need. Hopefully if i decide to go to UCSB I will get that amount!!

@handyht I think colleges do yield protection, so often they reject the students who are over-qualified as well. 
I although find it hard to believe with the stats given above the statement is true, but, you never know.

I wanted to believe something magical like that could happen for a kid, but he posted on 3/20 that he was rejected from every UC and UCI was his last hope

@CopperlineX2 I agree. I also find it hard to believe but I donāt think it is right to attack someone based on race / gender etc. etc.
