<p>I am submitting an SIR for UCSB, but am still undecided (due to a changing majors issue), on whether to go or stay at my current 4 year college. Since the deadline is a mere 2 days away, should I send in my SIR, and would that mean i will be "dropped" from the current UC school i currently go to? And how long will I have before I can contact them to cancel my SIR on the small chance that i do in fact want to stay here?</p>
<p>You won't be automatically dropped from your current school. Call the UCSB admissions office to find out when the deadline would be: I think the matter would be coming up to the time you have to actually register for classes.</p>
