But she asked…
Is t this site a forum for students to ask other students for advise? Assuming they know or can help in some way. I’m sure if everyone just asked UC about their problems this place would be nothing but
ACCEPTED
ACCEPTED
REJECTED
For pages and pages
Frankily, people know who they are turning to when they share their situations on this forum. Making inaccurate claims is risky territory on any subject; however, if the information is accurate according to the creditable sources which universities provide, then nothing negative can come from sharing it.
@alshaikh was not asking for advice. There is nothing that they can do if they are certain that a C- is inevitable. Admissions deals with these violations on a case by case basis. If they want to know what we can only imagine the outcome being based on our research until they have received the grade formally, have been accepted, and/or received a response from admissions, then there is no harm done.
@alshaikh Did you report the grade in your transfer academic update? or did you literally just get a C- because you’re at a quarter system community college?
Nervous about UCSC decision
I didn’t hear back from ucsc??? and its already march 22. Does that mean I got rejected?
@uchopeful414 It’s not that you said anything wrong. It’s just that, despite what a website says, the actual answer can change based on other information we might not know. Since this person is dealing with an admissions decision that has already been posted, I wouldn’t want them to believe that they’re screwed because of one grade. If it was someone who didn’t have a decision yet, I would think that would be fine because then we would be dealing with speculation on both ends. Do you see what I’m saying?
@yowhatisupyall I don’t think so. I haven’t received a decision yet, either. It’s possible that they’re releasing decisions once a week, 12:00 AM on Thursdays, since there hasn’t been any accepted/rejected posts since last Thursday around midnight. Just a guess, though. But people can receive decisions anywhere between now and April 30th, so all is not lost.
Yeah I get you! @100789 lets just hope they don’t get rejected though.
UCSC is starting to piss me off. We haven’t seen another acceptance since the 17th
@csgirl19 i just got that grade in a quarter system class rn
Anyone received any news from UCSC since 17th?
@tuyenvo13emhs No :\
UCSC slow as a slug. I want to know if I’m admitted or not already!
@100789
Don’t worry. I think that they will release all decisions soon. Good luck!
@sachill
Yeah. Same.
This is inconvenient I wish I could know if I was in or not so I could just move on and SIR Riverside and apply for UCR housing. I’m assuming you can’t change SIR after it’s submitted though?
You can’t “change” your SIR. However, you can SIR to one campus, then withdraw from it and SIR to another later on. You will lose your SIR deposit, though.
Alright that’s what I was wondering thanks
I am in riverside thread. I SIRd just so I can save my spot and get on the housing wait list. If Davis or SB takes me I’m withdrawing it. For what it’s worth, the 100$ is nothing compared to a good spot on the wait list IMO
$100 is definitely worth it for the good transfer housing I saw on my tour
