@imcray I feel you buddy I am riding on a 2.97 for CS as well, what are your plans if the remaining UC’s don’t accept you?
@imcray where did you see the stats released for 2016?
I think with your grades and if you did well on your personal insight questions you could get into UCSC. If you don’t another semester or two at a CC won’t kill you. The cal states take spring admits so expanding the schools you apply to will increase your chances as well as getting to bump that GPA up a little! Hopefully UCSC works out tho.

Any ppl older than 22 applying to UC campus housing or off-campus???
Congrats to all those who got admitted so far! Especially my fellow math majors! The wait is still killing me
Congrats guys. I still didn’t get any message/decision in myucsc. Majoring computer science, not Tagged.
Congrats to everybody,
What does it say on the portal when you get accepted?
Mine didn’t say on the homepage. I had to click through to admission status to see that it changed.
Same, pretty much you’ll know your accepted if when you click application status and instead of two tabs popping out it’ll be 3 now
@IndianCSguy probably going to take a semester or two off and try some things with academic renewal. I might look at other colleges with rolling admission but lets hope I get in somewhere haha
@enpz45 Thanks for the encouragement >_< You can find the updated stats here: https://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/infocenter/transfer-admissions-summary
Hopefully I don’t have to wait around a few more semesters though.
Accepted! My stats are that I have a 3.1 GPA, all GE and major requirements complete. 72 units total including my spring semester class. Edit: My major is Business.
Congratulations to all who are getting in
This wait is so distracting and frustrating while I’m trying to study for midterms this week!
All of us who are still waiting: http://i1.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/556/730/913.jpg
@brpere1175 I can’t take it anymore!!!
Same. I keep checking my status constantly and I feel like it’s becoming a bad habit lol @mmkelly1
@lucidday I’m 24 and I’m looking into the trailer park. That’s really what I’m hoping for

Hey guys I just emailed my physics professor and he told me I am going to recieve a D in the course, this is last physics course I needed for all UC’s (except UCI). Since All the UC’s are closed because it’s Cesar Chavez today does anyone have any advice for me for what is next? As you can tell by my username I am a CS major but I have not heard back from anyone besides UCM (they admitted me) so far. Will this screw with my chances of getting accepted anywhere? Thanks for any feedback
@SixtyOneBones lmao dude that moment made me cry, Fry and Seymour’s relationship is the epitome of the statement, Man’s best friend.
@IndianCSguy the Computer Science BA major at UCSC doesn’t require physics, but the Computer Science BS major does. I’m not sure what will happen or what you should do but I just thought I’d mention this.
