Is the portal working for everyone?
Is UCSD Single Sign on working?
@dayshine Try it!! Its not that hard believe me.
What generally is the acceptance rate for computer engineering?
@eric2017abc It is on this page under the heading “What is the application process (starting 2017-2018 Academic Year)?”. BTW at the bottom of the page it has the year 2016, but near the top it says “Updated 3.10.17”.

Wow @BunnyBlue that’s a huge change! I hope others read the small print before enrolling with the hope that they will be able to transfer into CS. Does your son have a second choice?
What is interesting to me (waitlisted for Cog Sci) is that they are re-directing CS applicants to Cognitive Science. I believe they also redirect Bio Sci applicants to Cog Sci.
For what it is worth, I read somewhere else (probably on the SLO board) that UW also makes it very difficult to transfer into CS.
Accepted

I have a question for anyone who got the invitation for the overnight stay… there are three tracks but when I tried t apply for he engineering one, it wasn’t an option… did it show up for you guys? I got the invitation yesterday so why would they be full? And it wouldn’t make sense for the engineering majors to not do the engineering track…
