I am going to go to UCR however. I am within close proximity to UCR, and they offered me a 10,000 dollar scholarship. Cannot beat that, I tell ya.
Does anyone know if it hurts your chances if you have a class in progress that’s an essential pre-req? I’m taking Math 124 right now in the spring semester.
Also, are we supposed to hear today? At least some of us?
@Cunningsloth In the UCSB thread, people’s portals were changing at 2:00 pm. Hopefully, we can at least see a change in our portals.
Traditionally for UCSD decisions came out at 5 or close to 5. Really hoping they do today, I haven’t heard back from anywhere and just knowing that I have at least 1 acceptance would calm the anxiety.

@AdultSwimFan I just checked my portal and was thinking the same exact thing.
@AdultSwimFan portals never went down when the freshman heard, but the portal did change like some of the lists started disappearing
Do all of you live near San Diego, and are going to commute to UCSD?
Or are you going to take out a loan to go to UCSD?
Or just rich parents?
I live in LA, I’m hoping to get good financial aid since I’m independent. The rest will be the partial GI Bill I receive and loans.
really really really hoping we hear back today. but i also feel like since they haven’t mentioned anything on their twitter and stuff, the chances of that are going to be slim…
@lovela honestly it doesn’t seem like any of the UC schools twitter accounts have posted about transfer acceptances.
@lovela UCSD admissions never post until after things happen and are way less responsive than UCSB and UCLA admissions who probably have several people who run the media for the school. You also have to consider that spring break is next week so admissions may be closed. I still think there is a good chance
@SmartJarhead hoping that i’m 100% wrong because i’m still pending decision for ucsb, so having ucsd would be so much relief. 
IF it is released today, it’ll probably be around 5 you think?

@lovela for the freshman I think the portals started changing around 2:30pm. Keeping my fingers crossed, I hope we hear today!
