Alright I didnt get into UCSD this fall but I am planning to do the winter 2010 tag transfer. The admissions officer told me that I needed a 3.0 by the end of summer to qualify. Right now I have a 3.1 but I think that I am going to get a C in my multivariable calculus class. So should I just ask the teacher to give me a D so I can retake it in the summer or should I just get the C and take two easier classes in the summer to raise my gpa?

hey i was wondering why didnt you jut TAG for fall.

get the C and take two easier summer classes to raise your GPA. A D doesn’t look good for grad school, assuming you’re considering grad school because grad schools don’t do academic forgiveness. They factor in every grade you’ve received when calculating your GPA.
