The UF decisions are coming out friday, at 6pm. I know its a little late to do much, but as the days have gone by, i've been becoming more and more nervous. It is, in fact, my top choice school. I have mediocre grades and I'm Indian. i have a 3.95 UF gpa, a 1880 SAT and IMO solid ec's and community service. Additionally, I'm in the IB program. I'm particularly scared because I have no idea how they admit students and on what basis. I know people who got accepted with worse academics than me (not by too much though), and weak ec's and community service. On the other hand, I know people who have gotten denied and have gone on to much better schools than UF. I personally knew this one guy who got rejected from UF, but got into Georgetown, UNC-chapell hill, UMich-Ann Arbor, and Dartmouth, all much better schools than UF (he chose Dartmouth). I don't understand why this is. My school is really good, nationally recognized and I've heard that they don't accept too many people from one school. Almost every senior is applying to UF and FSU. I'm just really really nervous because my whole family is expecting UF to accept me and as time progresses I'm really starting to doubt that that will happen. Many other kids who've applied with me have really strong gpas/SATs and EC/community service. I've heard a lot about Summer and Fall terms. I applied for fall and i heard that summer gets better results. I called the admissions office and they denied this but I'm not sure because I saw that summer B has 47% acceptance while fall has 41%.

Can anyone tell me their own stories about UF and anything else I should know? I already got into FSU (thank god), so thats always an option if i dont make it :/
Sorry for the length of this post just thought I'd say everything.
