So I am looking to transfer to the University of Florida next summer. By the end of Spring, I will have my AA. I am looking to double major at UF in History and Political Science but by the end of this semester, I will know which I am transferring for.
My current GPA is a 3.46, and I think at the of this semester it will either be the same or higher. But what are my chances of acceptance with basically between the 3.0-3.5?
It’s slightly stressful because of how competitive the university is with their applications. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
Transfer can be a much more straight forward process. If you are earning your AA degree at a Florida public institution and will have the prerequisites met for CLAS then you are definitely on the right path. https://www.advising.ufl.edu/admissions/transfer-admissions/
I am currently at Santa Fe and will have completed my AA by the end of Spring. I am slightly stressed, however, because I am taking Statistics right now which is a prerequisite for Poli Sci, so if I get a C and have B’s and A’s in the other classes required for political science would I still be okay? As for History, I will have no C’s for any of the classes required to transfer.
I am mainly trying to see which one would be better for me to transfer for. I still want to double major when I get to UF and fill out the paperwork for a double major.
