Hey I’ve been following this thread for a while. I only recall one person referencing an immunization hold on their ISIS, and I just had one put on today. Has any other person’s holds section change?

@vzon

i have a hold for emergency contact information and immunization tests…

ya those holds

at this point since all students had the degree audit option change, im thinking isis changed for all students, potentially admitted or not.

[Gainesville Apartments and Condominiums Guide Apartments and Condos for rent - Home](http://www.gainesville-rent.com/)

this sight has a list of apartments for rent off campus around UF. most are set up on individual leases and each room comes with a bathroom. it has a map and lists which apartments are fully furnished and if the utilities are included in the price. if you go to thid website you can request that a guide be sent to your address.

a 30% reduction in admitted transfer students is quite drastic. however, i like how the site said decisions should start rolling out on the 15th though. sooner the better as we all know.

^^^^where does that say that?

i heard it was 40%…unless that 30% is on top of that 40%, lol

(from an article on one of those UF news things)

btw does admissions work on weekends? lol (any chance of updates on a sat.?)

@ danny

go to post #213 and click the link…

then click the “transfer” link on the right… it talks about the 30% reduction and april 15th notifications…

still no word from fsu as well, worried =(

i assume all you sent apps to both schools, uf and fsu, have you all received fsu decision?

I’m applying to FSU as well. Isn’t the deadline in June?

well for summer it was march 1

I applied to FSU too. I sent the materials off last week for Fall, so nothing yet.

hell no. my loyalty as a gator fan won’t allow me to even entertain the idea of applying to FSU.

I feel the same way Florida4e; I grew up in Seminole territory and was harrassed my whole life about being a Gator fan, Even thought FSU would make more sense (living is cheaper, closer to home, etc.) I’m can’t get over my Gator pride
Just so I get a general idea, (of course if you want to share) whats everyone’s GPA? Mine is about 3.6.

3.76 from uni, not cc though

3.82 and 4.0 preprof from cc. Going into CALS, animal sciences.

4.0, applying to UF College of Journalism, from CC

And rsala - Like you, I also applied to both UF and FSU. FSU has been sending out transfer acceptances for months now (I was accepted in early Feb.) and I attended one of the transfer orientations in March. Since they are already registering so many transfers, I’m assuming that FSU should tell you very, very soon!

I see everyone on this forum has a 3.6+ …I hope thats only on this forum and not the near the actual avg. of applicants or I don’t think ill stand a chance…

I will be coming from a university (fiu) with only an AA certificate (signifying that I would qualify for a AA degree if I weren’t currently enrolled in a 4-year program…which really means nothing).

could there be enough 3.9 AA applicants to fill every single transfer spot?

I have a 3.67 gpa from UNC-Chapel Hill. Then again, it’s a hard school.
I didn’t know UF rounds down your GPA. (i.e 3.88 will be a 3.8).

yea im sure a 3.67 from unc is = to a 4.0 here at fiu

btw heres some interesting statistics in case anyone hasn’t seen
http://www.ir.ufl.edu/factbook/vii-01_hist.xls

only the top 10% of non AA transfers were admitted last year.
may be lower this year with additional financial pressures

(2007 20% admited…2008 10% admitted)
