<p>i’ve always been of the understanding… pre-prof…</p>
<p>includes all courses a student is required to take for their intended major…</p>
<p>i.e.</p>
<p>PoliSci major (myself) had to take 4 specific courses before transfer.</p>
<p>well, I was feelin lucky today and hiked over to McCarty Hall to bother the CALS admissions faculty (who were just sitting around talking to each other). The receptionist told me decisions would be in by JUNE…and at that point I just collapsed into a chair and sighed. </p>
<p>The other woman that was sitting around said “im feelin helpful today, let’s look at your application and see how far along you are”. Three minutes later she welcomed me to the college (upon completion of my current courses and two for the summer) and said that it would post online by tomorrow, although i already checked and it hadn’t yet…</p>
<p>So I would recommend that anyone who already lives up here pay their prospective college a visit, unless you want to wait until June</p>

<p>Let’s clear this up. The receptionist for the McCarty Hall CALS admissions office said that decisions regarding fall transfers would be mad by june. That is all the receptionist did. I’m pretty sure if they could make decisions, you’d be on your knees underneath every receptionist’s desk on campus…don’t forget to bring your kneepads ******bag</p>

<p>a UF source told me today they let everyone know- transfer wise- if they got in today!
