Rejection letters take longer than acceptance.

Wow that boosts my moral lol

Is that really true? LOL now that I get to thinking about it …

Any other Political Science majors? Or specifically any who aspire to attend law school after graduation?

I just got accepted to college of engineering today too … civil. Got a letter in the mail, not online notification.

Coming from a CC, 3.5 gpa

hmm with a 3.5?..friend of mine is applying from uni with a 3.4 to engineering, i hope he gets in as well.

Wow 27 pages and over 15,000 views. Damn the transfer students must be psyched about getting into UF. From what I understand the brunt of the student cuts will come from this demographic and not the “First Time in College Freshmen”.

now thinking about it, I will be really angry if I get denied… =(

If I do, is there an appeal process for transfers?

For 2008:

(I) CC-transfers: 3,709 applicants, 1,270 accepted, and an admit rate of only 34.2%

(II) Other-transfers: 2,238 applicants, 223 accepted, and an admit rate of 10.0%.

@ rsala

What is your transfer major?

yep coming from uni. like I am…its looking really grim

@gatorgirl
Mathematics, thats CLAS with a 3.76, 1 C+ and 1 dropped class (outside of major, and I explained why on letter of intent)

@ rsala
which one is UNI?

Any Journalism college majors recieved transfer decesions???
Anyone? LOL

if you mean, which uni, fiu

andcr- 3.5 overall or pre-pro.

has anyones isis been updated??

nope…

i have a 3.5 and am applying for spring 2010…i’ll most likely have a 3.6 and my A.A. from Santa Fe in Gainesville…i’m applying to the Fisher School of Accounting…i’ve lost all hope though after reading this forum…USF here i come =/

I would expect more engineering majors from university to get in than CC…does CC offer classes such as statics/dynamics, i know lots of engineering students here at fiu have both already done by end of 2nd year, along with materials. (unless they failed it)

@nnd1289

Yes, it does seem as though every single AA applicant has a 3.95 or 4.0 but it might be just the demographic of people who like to post on College confid…I hope thats the case .
if you dont get into UF, why not consider FSU

The next most appealing school after UF in my opinion is New College in Sarasota. It’s a pure honors college and has been ranked in the top ten of public liberal arts colleges in the country the past few years by US News.
