Sam… Hotspurs?

@SamIam020792 --Ohh, well I already changed my preferences, but yeah having a private bathroom would be nice…
It’s kind of…annoying to the housings if I requested another change, so I’ll live with what I get.

My question is this: would it do anything if I e-mailed a request for a specific type of room? If we do get Baits, we would either be in the double w/ private bath or the two-room double w/ private bath, and I would much prefer the latter.

Since thechineseman said that housing did change his app even after it’s been stated that you can’t make changes after you submit, would I stand a chance of getting some consideration on my room type?

Yeah I wonder the same thing as fuzzy. What about central campus ? Which residence hall should a freshmen live in Central Campus ? Or should freshmen even apply to the Central as their first choice and how does the room type selection works ?

It wouldn’t hurt applying for Central as your first choice.

fuzzy0097: Unless the housing app has changed, you should have ranked preferences for type of room (by price I believe). I do not believe that you can request a specific type of room beyond the pre-defined categories.

I believe that Baits rooms are “double w/ private bath” The only place where I have seen the two room double in North Quad, and as a freshman, you have virtually 0 chance of getting in there. There may, however be those rooms elsewhere on campus that I just don’t know about.

akiremitci: If you haven’t done the housing app yet, you do not have much say in where you end up. You have three choices for location; Central Campus, Bursley, and Baits. Based on my understanding ~50% of freshmen get placed on north campus. See above for how room type was selected last year.

MLD… what? lol

Wolverine… Baits has two room doubles and they are very nice.

Sam- Did not know that, thanks for correcting me!

Nvm, thought you were someone I knew in Baits 1

Oh haha nope I’m in Baits 2
